Bring It On, Baby!
Hi everyone. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm so excited to get started with the Pay Yourself First Challenge. As you've read above and seen in my video, my wife and I are expecting our first child next March.
Our goal is to save up some money for all the new baby-related expenses we'll be taking on. I'm really looking forward to sharing our experience with you throughout the challenge using this blog.
You Can Follow Along
If you're expecting a baby too, or if you're just looking for more ways to save money on expenses related to your little ones, be sure and follow me throughout the challenge. I'll be sharing what I learn and the experts will provide their input as well.

More About Me, PT
You can call me Philip, Phil, PT, or even PT Money (my rapping alter ego). I'm in my early 30s, married for a couple of years now to a wonderful woman, Teresa. You'll get to meet her soon.
We live in Frisco, TX (near Dallas) where I work for McAfee, the world's largest dedicated security technology company.
Throughout the challenge I'll be doing some traveling with my job. I'll do my best to take FNBO Direct's message of Paying Yourself First (and their cool t-shirt) to the rest of the world.
Teresa has six years experience as a special education teacher and is now attending graduate school full-time in Adapted Physical Education.
We moved into our first home a little over a year ago, and feel like we've got a pretty good handle on our financial situation.
Still, together we plan on making a big effort during this challenge and learning as much as possible.

Thanks FNBO Direct!
Lastly, I just want to add that I feel so blessed to be a part of this challenge. A huge thanks to the fine folks at FNBO Direct for selecting me, and the other challengers, who are all great people with great families and stories.
Bring it on, baby!
